Tired of the same old Sunday School? Want something the kids can sink their teeth into? Old First Church may be just the place for your children.

 

Our children experience Bible stories through readings, Bible puzzles and games, cooking approaches, skits, videos and field trips. Gone is the same old Sunday School classroom.

 

The Sunday School teachers at Old First Church and enthusiastic, and imaginative. They are patient and kind.  Most importantly they are eager to be with the children and provide them with exciting interpretations of Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments.

 

We have a wonderful team of teachers from grades K through 8 and provide child care for younger children as well.

 

Stop in and let your children give us a try. Get to know us in worship while they get to know us in Sunday School. If you'd like to register for Sunday School, and we pray that you will, please fill out a Registration form which you will find on the desk in the main hallway.

 

This year Old First is celebrating our 350th Anniversary of Faith and Service in the Community. It's a great time to join the group and hear the word of Jesus as he speaks to us this year and always.

 

 

WEDNESDAY KIDS/YOUTH CLUB AND CHOIRS

                                                                       

Wednesday afternoons at Old First Church provide an excellent opportunity for fellowship through Bible study and music. Our group meets from 4:30 - 6:00 and we enjoy a monthly potluck dinner together. This is a wonderful opportunity for food and fellowship.

 

All children gather together at 4:30 for one half-hour of free time and getting to know you. At 5:00 children in grades K - 3 go to choir and those in grades 4 - 8 have Bible time. Then at 5:30 the groups switch.

 

Why not stop in with your children one Wednesday afternoon, sit in on our group and give Old First a try?

 

SUNDAY EVENING YOUTH CLUB

 

On Sunday evenings we gather together with the Youth of Old First. Our Middle School group meets from 5:30 - 7:00. There's Bible study, fun, dinner and dessert each Sunday evening.

 

Our High School group meets from 7:00 - 8:30. Together they complete mission projects and explore Gods love for us.

 

Both groups also enjoy special events through the year.
