We are looking forward to hosting the Spring Brunch for the Choir between services on Easter Sunday, March 23rd.

On April 1st and May 6th at 9:30 am the PW coordinating team will meet in the Fiske room.  The meetings are open; please feel free to join us.

At 11:30 am on May 7th, we will celebrate our 350th anniversary and the arrival of spring with a “High Tea” luncheon featuring a musical program “Songs My Mother Taught Me” starring Martha Tibbets and her daughter Jennifer with accompaniment by Ken Friese. To join in on the fun, mail your check for $15.00 to Old First Church , 125 Main Street , Huntington , NY 11743 , attention: Asenath Fuchs.  Make checks payable to Old First Church with PW Luncheon in the memo.

On May 10th, we are pleased to join with the Deacons for a Mother’s Day plant sale.  In addition to the beautiful flowering plants for sale, there will be golf items, delicious baked goods, jewelry and white elephant items available for purchase.

The circles are currently in progress of making Hygiene Kits for Church World Services. Each kit includes: a hand towel, a wash cloth, a wide tooth comb, a nail clipper, a bar of soap, a toothbrush, six band-aids. We will be making approximately 55 kits for CWS this year. If you are interested in helping out please contact a Circle member.  Donations for the shipping costs are also greatly appreciated.
